After a stupendous performance at IAC, Prague, Dr. Rushi Ghadawala has received Sir Arthur C. Clarke Award on behalf of ASO family for our outstanding performances till now. Out of utmost humbleness, Dr. Ghadawala has dedicated the prestigious award to all of ASO members including technical, medicine, science, admin. and PR entity members, because of which he believes that we have been able to receive such a coveted international award. Blessed and guided by the former President and esteemed scientist of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, ASO took its first leap with a project on a novel approach for innovative space transportation named ARYAVARTA. A project of developing an energy and cost efficient unmanned space vehicle to shift satellite orbits for interplanetary missions with consideration of reducing space debris in the space, Project Aryavarta has flourished over the years and has represented papers at several leading conferences in its field around the world. With the genius and meticulous streak that inspired the young scientist Dr Rushi Ghadawala, the inceptor and President of ASO to step up and take forward the work of ASO to celebrated levels, being among the top ten aerospace NGOs in the world, ASO continues to do great work and provide valuable contribution to research in space science. ASO's activities are spread over three countries under ASO India, ASO USA, ASO UK. Astronautics and Astrophysics entity, Aerospace Technical, Life Sciences & Aeromedicine are the primary fields that we delve into. With our Aryavarta Space project already underway, different areas of exploration in Aryavarta include: space debris and environmental issues; interplanetary mission designing; interplanetary mission analysis; space and psychological issues; radiation hazards in space; space tourism project and effects of gravity variation on human bodies. With an innovative streak calling each one of us associated with ASO, the space is our calling till it keeps inspiring mankind to crack all its secrets.
