Ain Shams University

Ain Shams University, established in 1950, is a public university located in Cairo, Egypt. It was the third institution of higher education to be established in Egypt and was built on the site of the Zaafarana Palace, which was named after the surrou Zaafarana Palace, which was named after the surrounding area known for its saffron plants.
