How We Handle the Entire Process

Clarification & Journal URL Verification

Once all your questions and doubts are answered, we will ask you to provide your journal website URL.

We will check whether your website architecture provides Article Landing Pages with unique URLs for all articles.
If not, we will guide you or your IT team on creating them.
Once the landing pages are ready, we will verify again and confirm that everything is in place for the next step.

Plan Selection & Payment

After confirming prerequisites:

You select a Crossref DOI plan according to your requirements.
We will share our bank details and payable amount for you to make the payment.

Information Collection

Once the payment is received, we will provide a shared Google Doc (example provided) to collect all necessary information from you.
This information will be used to apply online for your Crossref Prefix Account.

Crossref Application & Acknowledgment

Within 2–3 working days, you will receive an email from support@crossref.org acknowledging your application.
Crossref will then conduct a background check (typically 8–9 working days).

Account Setup & DOI Prefix Delivery

If everything goes well, Crossref will provide your new account information, password reset link, and DOI prefix.
We will forward this information to you immediately.

Handling Queries or Issues

rossref raises any queries or issues, we will prepare responses using your input and reply on your behalf. Please note that for every email communication from Crossref to you, we will be CC’d to stay informed and ensure smooth coordination.
We will continue to follow up until Crossref provides the final confirmation.
