Abstract
RA is one of the most prevalent chronic inflammatory diseases that primarily affects the joints and places a heavy burden on both the patient and the community. The treatment is broad, involving several medicines with various dose regimens as well as non-pharmacologic therapies. With the advent of new management guidelines and diagnostic criteria, rheumatoid arthritis treatment options have substantially improved in recent years. However, there are several therapeutic choices available, and new therapeutic approaches are already being developed.
