Preface to the special issue dedicated to the International Conference “Mathematical optimization theory and Operations Research” (MOTOR 2020) held online from July 6 to July 10, 2020

Abstract

This special issue contains 11 papers submitted by the participants of the International Conference “Mathematical Optimization Theory and Operations Research” (MOTOR 2020) which was held online from July 6 to July 10, 2020. Like previous MOTOR conferences, this event was intended to bring together researchers and practitioners working in the field of optimization theory, methods, software and related fields. The conference was organized by Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Laboratory of Algorithms and Technologies for Networks Analysis, Higher School of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod, N.N. Krasovski Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk State University, Melentiev Energy Systems Institute, Irkutsk, and Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk.
