Exergy Analysis of a Refrigeration System – AReview

Abstract

Exergy analysis is widely used in the design, simulation and performance analysis of various types of engineering applications in comparison with energy analysis. Energy analysis presents only quantities results while exergy analysis presents qualitative results about actual energy consumption. This paper emphasizes review of open literature related to the application of exergy analysis in various engineering application since itsdevelopment. It has been found that application of exergy analysis in vapour compression refrigeration system has been increased in last decade only
