Abstract

This research delves into the imperative realm of enhancing energy efficiency within Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems by harnessing the capabilities of building automation. While HVAC systems are vital for maintaining optimal indoor comfort, they often contribute significantly to energy consumption. Building automation stands out as a strategic solution, optimizing HVAC operations based on real-time data, occupancy patterns, and external conditions. This paper scrutinizes the current landscape of energy efficiency in HVAC systems, delineates the role of building automation, and elucidates the manifold benefits of integrating smart technologies in both commercial and residential buildings.
