Abstract
Seen as utility computing for next generation IT enterprise architecture, Cloud computing offers users to store their data on remote server and relieves users from the burden of storing and maintaining data locally. This distinctive off-premises computing attribute of Cloud, looking attractive at first glance, pretenses many security issues and challenges for user data, as user does not have direct control on his data. In this article, we have attempted to cover various security issues related to Cloud computing data storage. These issues have been explored from various facets. We also take an overview to the various security proposals available to address the problem.
