Being associated with Dept. of Commerce and Management and Xavier School of Business, main responsibility is to take classes of Production and Operations Management in both undergraduate and Post graduate level students; along with that guiding them for seminar, conference or other allied activities. Apart from that responsible for university paper setting, evaluation of university exam scripts and scrutiny.

The responsible areas are in Vendor Management (Finding out the appropriate vendors and creating the vendor list, sending inquiry before procurement for negotiation, maintaining vendor database, follow-up with vendors after purchase), in addition to this coordination with site supervisors for requirement of materials, scrap details, maintenance details of machines/ equipment, basic project management using MS-Project, and activities related to Human resource (maintaining the employee database, scrutiny of resumes, initial interaction with the suitable candidates)

Being a team member of a Manpower audit team, the functions were mainly data collection from various department of Jayasree textile (unit of Aditya Birla group) by using method study, Time study to find actual manpower requirement for an individual department.
