Dr. Satish Sonkamble is a dedicated Post-Doctoral Fellow at North West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa, since July 2023. With a robust academic background including a Ph.D. in Physics (Astronomy & Astrophysics) and extensive research experience, he specializes in galaxy groups and clusters using multi-wavelength observations. His work focuses on AGN feedback, X-ray cavities, cluster dynamics, and the co-evolution of supermassive black holes and galaxies. Dr. Sonkamble has published in high-impact journals and held previous research positions at INAF - Astronomical Observatory of Padova and the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, TIFR. He also founded the All India Council for Astronomy & Space Education.
