About
I am Dr. Sheryl D. Tomas, a dedicated educator, researcher, and business practitioner with over 18 years of experience in the field of business and management. I currently serve as Assistant Professor IV at the College of Business and Management, Isabela State University – Cauayan Campus, where I actively engage in teaching, research, and community development.
My academic and professional journey has been guided by a passion for entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and economic empowerment. I have published various research studies focusing on micro-entrepreneurship, government support mechanisms, and the lived experiences of local entrepreneurs. Among these is a notable phenomenological study on the implementation of the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Law. I also authored the book From Keys to Chicken Soup: Finding Meaning in Marriage, which reflects my interest in values-driven leadership and holistic personal development.
As a member of respected academic organizations and a reviewer for international journals, I remain committed to contributing meaningful knowledge and promoting inclusive growth through academics and practice.
