Principal Scientific Officer
1) Testing & reporting of routine microbiology samples including blood culture & TB culture. 2) Identification and susceptibility testing on Automated microbiology systems Vitek2compact, Vitek 2, Vitek MS, Biofire(Multiplex PCR). 3) Specimen processing as per defined SOPs, Performing QC and documentation, routine maintenance of equipment as per CAP & NABL guidelines. 4) Arrangement and labeli ng of samples & culture bo ttles for convenient tracking and maintaining inventory for defined tests.
Assistant QC Microbiologist
1) Collect purified water samples from the various usp purified water loops used to manufacture or test drug products. 2) Prepare media used in the microbiological testing of bulk pharmaceutical chemicals, drug products components. 3) Prepare samples for shipment to outside contract laboratory for microbio logical testing. 4) Collect environmental samples for microbiological analysis. 5) Sample final products for microbial testing. 6) Perform advanced microbiological testing on water, bulk pharmaceutical chemicals, and drug products components - rapid method s. 7) Perform microbial identifications interprets results with automated equipment. 8) Perform validation suitability testing of microbiology lab methods.
