The NA deficiencies may lead to diseases such as roughness of the skin and dermatitis for human. Furthermore, NA has been demonstrated to have various pharmacological effects. Thus, the determination of NA is important for clinical diagnosis and evaluation pharmacological effects. Nicotinic Acid prevents Alzheimer’s-like symptoms and it is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and other mental illnesses.
