Experience
• NPD: 20K Winch: Pioneered ‘Winch NPD’ in IIC. Designed 20K winch platforming for recovery application.
• NPD Support: Extended NPD support for Altec Bumper Winch 20K & 55K.
• CPQ project: Led a team of 8 members to design and deliver 400+ CPQ models of DP Winches, TWI Hoists, Recovery winches, Pull master Winches & HPD’s, within a short span of 4 months.
• TWG Workshop Project: New gear geometry calculated and optimised in KISSSoft tool which will help to increase the contact ratio of HPD gears which in turn will reduce current noise and vibration of the HPD’s at customer application end.
• Engineering Requests (ER’s): Worked on 240+ Engineering requests (102+ year to date) of various TWG products (Planetary/worm gear winches, hoists & drives, Rotators, Traction/bumper/ capstan winches, Hydraulic pump drives and slewing ring bearings.
• Team’s ER/Project Review: Review/QC engineering requests completed by team members and project review on need basis.
• Inclusion of RPW 15K: Worked on another variant of winch for recovery application, derived from RPW20K which filled the gap of pulling capacities from 8K to 20K.
• Designed tensioner assemblies for RPW 15/20K for Miller industries.
• Drop Replacement to replace Ramsay’s HDP-8000: Delivered another variant of 8K winch, derived from RPW-8K which can directly replace competitors’ model.
