RaeAnn Anderson, Principal Investigator at the UND Sexual Violence Prevention Laboratory, is an academic and researcher dedicated to preventing sexual violence through clinically relevant research. Her early career includes roles as a Graduate Student Therapist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she gained extensive practicum experience in various clinics, including the Women’s Resource Center and the Traumatic Stress and Anxiety Disorders Specialty Clinic. During this time, she conducted individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and comprehensive clinical evaluations. RaeAnn's academic background is impressive, with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she achieved a 3.94 GPA. Her dissertation focused on women's responses to risk in a date rape analogue study. She also holds a BA in Psychology from The University of Kansas, with minors in African and African American Studies. Her academic achievements include several fellowships and awards. In addition to her teaching and research, RaeAnn is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy and neuropsychological assessment. Her dedication to the field of psychology is evident through her extensive experience and commitment to addressing sexual violence through research and intervention.
