His bachelor's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University laid the foundation for his strong technical acumen. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has worked on advanced projects, including the design and testing of membrane-less hydrogen iron redox flow batteries and optimizing cold plate designs for lithium-ion battery stacks in electric vehicles, showcasing his innovative approach to solving complex engineering problems. In his professional career, Jayanth has held roles that emphasize both leadership and technical expertise. As a Cell Test Engineer at Tesla, he played a pivotal role in commissioning a state-of-the-art R&D cell testing lab and developing advanced test protocols to optimize cell performance and reliability. At Apple, he served as a Battery Test Lab Team Lead, where he led technicians, developed SOPs, and implemented new tools to improve lab efficiency. His design engineering roles at VVST Energy and Xergy Inc. highlight his ability to design and test innovative solutions for electrochemical and mechanical systems.
