About
Dr. I Barun Mangang is an Assistant Professor (Contract) at Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology, Kerala Agricultural University. He specializes in packaging, storage entomology, microbial analysis, bioinsecticide formulation, and encapsulation. Dr. Mangang holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from NIFTEM-T, with research focused on insect repellent systems for food packages. He has extensive experience with analytical instruments and has guided numerous master’s and Ph.D. students. His scholarly contributions include 14 research papers, 7 popular articles, 2 book chapters, and several papers under review. He also has experience as a guest lecturer and technical assistant.
