• Reconnaissance Survey and Detailed Geological Survey • Geological Software Application to Data Interpretation: this operation entails the use of software’s such as Google Earth, • Geological Report Writing: geological reports are prepared after any geological operation to document and present essential information adeptly for decision making, reference and record purpose. • Coordinate Carving and Prospect Area Delineation: any giving prospect area needs to be carved and delineated using the DMS (degrees minutes and seconds) coordinates system of the Global Position System (GPS) and the Nigerian Mining Cadastral Unit System to determine the areal extent, point coordinates and the number of CUs (Cadastral Unit). • Geological Data Generation Analysis and Interpretation: various tools, equipment’s, instruments and software’s can be used to generate geological data depending choice and preference which also relies on ore of interest and area of interest, some of these tools are terrameter, GPS, Compass Clinometer, Google Earth while geological software’s are used to interpret these data it is important to note that certain software’s are best for certain data types and a software can interpret more than one data type
