Dr(CPO)Deepchand Dhankhar .Indian Navy (Retd) serves as Director of Student Affairs at Forum IAS in Gurugram. With over 47 years of diverse experience in naval, maritime, and pharmaceutical factory administration, training, and education, he has trained more than 10,000 naval cadets, 2,000 experienced seafarers, and over 5,000 Indian Navy officers and sailors, including personnel from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and other countries.
He is an adjunct research supervisor with the School of International Programs (SoIP) at Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence & Business Management (LIUTEBM) and a researcher mentor with Gradxs Global Education. Dr. Dhankhar contributes his expertise in maritime safety, yoga, and maritime educational research. He is also involved in quality control for Gradxs India and LIUTEBM University. He is an invited faculty member for research methodology, paper publication, and research topic selection at partnered universities under Gradxs Global Education. He has evaluated over 15 doctoral theses as an external examiner and member of the doctoral panel for PhD Viva Voce (Défense).
Dr. Dhankhar serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scientific Research in Allied Sciences and is an experienced journal reviewer with the International Centre for Research and Resource Development (ICRRD). He is also the Reviewer and Chief Editor for the International Journal of Novel Research and Development.
A proactive member of the education community, Dr. Dhankhar has played a key role in inculcating service values and professionalism among sailors and NCC cadets while serving in the Indian Navy and at Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). At TMI, he established a strong foundation in hostel management and created state-of-the-art seamanship training facilities, which have been highly regarded. For over 25 years, he spearheaded numerous seamanship and safety training programs for crew and officers of shipping companies and developed a unique safety training course through experiential learning titled "Hazard Simulation Safety Training Awareness."
Dr. Dhankhar has written and published more than 50 research papers and is recognized in the India Book of Records for his research contributions. One of his research papers on seafarers' wellbeing was adjudged the best research paper. He is a life member of ISTD New Delhi and the Indian Association of Researchers and Academicians (IARA). He has authored five books.
