Rwanda -Israel Agriculture Intern (Agro -Internship)
Learning by doing agriculture works, wastewater treatment for Irrigation in Agriculture Attended Agriculture and Dairy Farms Class at Kinneret Academic College Participated in Crop management (from Planting to Packaging)
Accountant and GIS support Intern
Supported GAH Ltd staff to check with accuracy of assets valuation files. Participated in field works sessions organized by GAH Ltd for physical verification of the valuated assets. Performed other related works as assigned by the supervisor, reported all results and challenges to the supervisor.
Sustainable Agriculture program manager
Oversaw and coordinated land preparation, planting, availability of seeds, crop management recommendation and application, farming techniques aiming at increasing the farm productivity, harvest & post -harvest processing and any other on -farm related activi ty on behalf of SIMEC. Mobilized community to adapt irrigation, water harvesting and storage techniques and water and soil resources management. Conservation Agriculture Intern
Managed the cultivation of different crops using conservation agriculture technology and Foundations for Farming on one -hectare demonstration Farm at Nyamata. Controlled Pest and disease on vegetable crops, maize, beans and fodder crops in -farm and managed Farm. Trained and influenced smallholder farmers around demonstration farms to adopt conservation agriculture. Made compost using available materials, adhered to organization standard operation procedures ensuring personal and professional development.
Enumerator
Collected data on horticultural crop aggregators. Validated 112 horticultural crops farmers ,18 cooperatives and 6 companies in four days. Assessed horticultural production and aggregators of Nyagatare district.
