Leading a team of machine learning engineers (MLE) and data scientists (DS) that support last mile delivery (LMD) and fulfillment engine services (FES) at Shipt (https://www.shipt.com/ - A grocery delivery service start-up - owned by Target). 14 years of US work experience as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer/Data Science Manager in a corporate environment. “A hands-on leader, can code with intent and vigor”. Have extensive experience in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Gen AI LLM’s, Optimization Algorithms, Executive reporting/strategy analytics, A/B Testing / Synthetic Control Experiments/Causal Inference Analysis and in building ML pipelines (ML Ops) for continuous inference. Currently I own and lead Tier 1 offering data science services at Shipt. Created and implemented yearly/quarterly charters for Catalog/Offering and Fraud domains - work and drive Product/Engineering/Operations/Strategic Initiative teams to build services and models which help drive companies OKRs. Drive novel advanced Machine Learning/Gen AI projects with a limited scope of success to completion, been a champion and advocate of utilizing Gen AI tools within the organization. Provide thought partnership to the Chief Business/Product Office at Shipt on key business initiatives/product features.
