Write Chef cookbooks in Ruby to maintain the configuration of the nodes, apply configuration changes, install the operating system or security patches, manage secrets using data bags, etc. Develop and enforce cloud security and access control policies to mitigate security incidents, control user access, and meet compliance requirements. Onboard DP AAS Databricks tenant workspaces on Azure with an ADLS2 storage account, establish VNet peering and allowlist the firewall with Azure Firewall policy rules. Perform decommission of various services such as Splunk, Mail Relay, CyberArk, etc., hosted in the ITHUB environment and collaborate with the users to migrate their services from the ITHUB. Cloud Services Operations Engineer
Deployed ARIS Cloud Enterprise tenants for various clients in AWS EKS and Azure AKS clusters. Upgraded the ARIS Cloud tenants through the Blue-Green deployment model and restored the backup data to the new tenants. Online Shopping Application using Java
Developed an application database model using Oracle Java, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin, where product purchase transactions initiated by the application will be recorded in the database. Integrated JavaFX FXML class to render graphics and the state of the application model to end-users.
Monitoring and metrics system
Built a monitoring and metrics system with Riemann, Graphite, and Grafana on Ubuntu and Rocky Linux servers. Configured Riemann as an event router to monitor the Ubuntu server and route the events to Graphite. The Graphite stores events in the Whisper database, and Grafana projects the event metrics as graphs.
Cloud-native application deployment on AWS
Deployed a three-tier Web App with a NodeJS application that runs on AWS EC2, DynamoDB database, and ELB Application load balancer. Developed an application to save the files uploaded by users in an S3 bucket and send an SMS acknowledgment to users through SNS. The DynamoDB database records transactions whenever a user attempts to upload a file.
