Regular monitoring of project HCFs infrastructure built under the project entitled Environmentally sound management of medical waste in India Worked with Punjab Pollution Control Board, SPMU to ensure the proper BMWM in model HCFs under project. To ensure the environmentally sound technology in the CBWTF in project state

Performed regular site audits as third party at CBWTF, conducted reports and analyzed results for the future prediction of BMW generation in Haryana State and submission to Haryana Pollution Control Board. Performed stack monitoring at CBWTF and collect waste water samples to compliance them with MoEF&CC regulations. Worked closely with the pollution control board and environmental health expertise on the development and implementation of the waste regulations to minimize their environmental and health impacts.

Algae as a Bioremedy for the nutrient stripping and stock of natural oil
To find the strength of algae to strip the nutrients from the diary waste water. Evaluate the percentage of nutrients striped and quantity of natural oil collected from algae.
Evaluation of BMW generation, gap analysis with respect to coverage area and future projection in Haryana for better management
It was a study about the BMW generation trend in Haryana state and estimation for coming next 10 years. A comprehensive performance evaluation of all 11 CBWTF in Haryana state to evaluate the need of another CBWTF.
Environmentally sound management of medical waste in India
Harmonization of environmental and healthcare policy and regulatory instruments through appropriate networking for creation and promotion of environmentally sound management of medical waste, disposal sector and market. Strengthening of institutional capacity for Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) of medical waste, in particular in large, medium and small healthcare facilities in 5 selected states namely Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa and Punjab. Facilitation and promotion of public-private partnership (PPP) to improve support and supply capacities in medical waste management within the healthcare facility perimeter. Facilitation and promotion of PPP to improve local technological and manufacturing capacities in medical waste transport and disposal sectors with specific reference to avoid generation of PCDD/PCDF and other unintentionally produced POPs releases by applying BAT/BEP measure
