Partial Replacement of Cement with Hyposludge
To investigate the utilization of Hypo sludge as a supplementary cementitious material and influence of these Hyposludge on the strength of concrete made with different cement replacement level. In these project, for test there was use of cement mortar with different percentage of replacement of hyposludge as at 4%, 8%, 12% & 16% for obtaining the compressive strength result of conventional cement mortar and the replaced cement mortar of PPC & OPC. It was concluded that between 0-8percent of replacement there was increased in strength of the cement mortar than conventional cement mortar & at 4% of replacement the maximum strength is obtained for replaced cement mortar for OPC cement. Also the use of hyposludge containing cement is economical and eco-friendly which contribute to greener concrete.
