Journal Descriptions

Zhongguo Yaoli Xuebao , known in English as the Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, is a prestigious peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of pharmacology and biomedical sciences. It is one of the leading pharmacology journals in China and is internationally recognized for publishing high-quality experimental and clinical research on drug action, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, and molecular pharmacology. The journal publishes original research articles, rapid communications, reviews, and experimental studies focusing on drug mechanisms, receptor biology, signal transduction, and translational pharmacology. It plays a key role in advancing modern pharmacological science and bridging traditional Chinese pharmacological research with global biomedical developments. Established in 1984, the journal has grown into an internationally indexed publication and is widely read by pharmacologists, biomedical researchers, and pharmaceutical scientists. It is published primarily in English today (though historically Chinese-language content existed), which has significantly increased its global visibility.
