The Zentralblatt für Arbeitsmedizin, Arbeitsschutz und Ergonomics is one of the oldest German-language scientific journals in the field of work, environment, health and safety. It provides a forum for freely submitted original articles, overviews, short communications, and casuistries. The journal enables an exchange of scientific experience and provides optimal solutions to problems. The target groups of the journal are occupational physicians, social physicians, environmental physicians, safety engineers, ergonomic scientists and other groups and institutions that are closely associated with occupational, social and environmental medicine as well as occupational safety and ergonomics. In-depth research articles and overviews keep professionals from occupational, social and environmental medicine up to date on new medical developments and laws in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of environmental diseases and work-related injuries and illnesses. Original papers and overviews provide results of current research and their integration into daily practice. The range of topics ranges from toxicological issues to travel and tropical medicine and public health aspects to health services research and ergonomics.
