The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy publishes articles that relate to mental problems and disorders, psychological disorders and physical illnesses caused by mental disorders. The journal publishes works on basic and applied research, e.g. articles on the diagnosis, etiology and therapy of disorders and is committed to pluralism in the methods of thinking and working, interdisciplinarity, multi-methodality and the heterogeneity of the fields of work. Original articles, overviews and short reports are accepted, and new book publications and clinical examination procedures are also discussed. The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (ISSN 1616-3443) has been published quarterly under this title since 2000. The journal was previously published under the title Journal of Clinical Psychology (ISSN 0084-5345) from 1972 to 1999.
