Zede Journal (ZJ)

Zede is a scientific journal on engineering science and application, produced under the auspices of the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, Addis Ababa University. The main objective of the journal is to publish research articles, findings and discussions on engineering sciences, technology and architecture thereby assisting in the dissemination of engineering knowledge and methodologies in solving engineering problems. Technical Notes of significant contribution may be considered for publication. The journal focuses on disseminating original research, technical papers, and applied studies related to engineering, technology, and the built environment. It covers diverse disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering, as well as architecture and infrastructure development. Zede Journal emphasizes practical and solution oriented research that addresses real world engineering challenges, particularly in developing countries. It follows a peer review process in which submitted manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts to ensure quality and academic integrity. The journal operates as an open access platform, promoting the free exchange of knowledge among researchers, professionals, and policymakers. Although its publication frequency is irregular, it remains an important outlet for engineering research in Ethiopia and the wider African region.
