Yobe Medical Journal [Yobe Med J] a publication of the Nigerian Medical Association, Yobe State Branch, is an open-access peer-reviewed online journal with three issues per year, print on demand compilation of issues published. The journal publishes high-quality and impactful research works relevant to health sciences. These include outstanding research in all branches of clinical practice, translational medicine, medical education, public health, and global health and policy. The journal publishes several types of articles, including original clinical and basic biomedical research; brief reports (unique case reports, small-scale research, or research that is in early stages of development); reviews; quality improvement reports; editorials; viewpoints; and correspondence on clinical matters. It is also a medium for publicizing meetings, conferences, and the latest books related to advances in health sciences in Africa and the rest of the world. The journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December)
