The World Journal of Management and Economics (WJMEC) is an organization dedicated to the promotion of efficient and effective regional development policies through research, education and the discussion of ideas. Its goal is to provide a platform for a multi-disciplinary approach to regional analysis. Submissions which fall within this general framework of regional analysis, policy, practice and development are welcome. The journal includes research notes and reviews of books, and is a refereed journal published monthly. WJMEC operates an international peer-review process and publishes monthly both in print and online. The journal also publishes research notes, book reviews and insights, and comments and debates from readers on published papers or important management questions of the day. It serves as a medium for recognizing excellence and exceptional service for advancing management scholarship, widely defined, and education and practice in Africa and between Africa and the rest of the world.
