Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal is a peer reviewed international academic journal dedicated to research and scholarship concerning women and girls in sport, exercise, physical activity, and related health sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical papers, reviews, and practical studies that examine the social, psychological, physiological, cultural, and educational dimensions of women’s participation in physical activity and sports. The journal serves as an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, educators, coaches, healthcare professionals, and policymakers working in kinesiology, exercise science, gender studies, sociology of sport, and physical education. It addresses important issues such as gender equity in sports, athletic performance, coaching, leadership, sports participation, physical fitness, body image, mental health, media representation, and barriers affecting women and girls in athletic environments.
