Urological survey (US)
Journal Descriptions
Urological Survey was a specialized medical review journal dedicated to developments in the field of urology. The journal mainly published survey articles, literature reviews, summaries of important clinical findings, and discussions of advances in diagnosis, surgery, oncology, nephrology, and urinary tract disorders. It served as an important reference source for practicing urologists, surgeons, nephrologists, and medical researchers by compiling and evaluating significant international research in urological science. The publication originated from Quarterly Review of Urology and later became Urological Survey in 1951. Its objective was to provide concise yet comprehensive evaluations of emerging clinical techniques, surgical procedures, urinary tract disease management, prostate disorders, renal diseases, and related experimental studies. The journal was recognized in medical indexing databases and was widely used by clinicians seeking summarized updates on rapidly developing urological literature. In 1981, Urological Survey was incorporated into The Journal of Urology, one of the leading journals in the urology field.
