Urban Resilience and Earthquake Engineering (UREE)
Journal Descriptions
Urban Resilience and Earthquake Engineering serves as a comprehensive platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and developments in the fields of urban resilience and earthquake engineering. The journal is committed to addressing the complex challenges posed by natural and human-made disasters, aiming to enhance the resilience of cities through innovative methodologies, technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches, including analytical, numerical, experimental and field studies. It is designed to meet the evolving needs of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers involved in the study and application of resilience strategies and earthquake engineering principles. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Multi-hazard (earthquake, fire, flood, and climate change, etc.) actions; Deterioration of engineering materials, structures and infrastructure; Advanced materials, structures and technologies in enhancing urban resilience; Reliability and safety of structures and systems; Hazard analysis and risk assessment; Performance-based assessment of non-structural components, engineering structures, infrastructure systems; Big data, artificial intelligence in urban resilience and earthquake engineering; Strong ground motions, site effects, geotechnical earthquake engineering and human-induced earthquake; Seismic response analysis, hazard mitigation and retrofit methods; Urban disaster immunity.
