Tropical Journal of Natural Product Research (TJNPR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research in natural products and pharmaceutical sciences. Published by the Natural Product Research Group, University of Benin, Nigeria, the journal provides a global platform for scientists, researchers, and academicians to disseminate high-quality original research and review articles. The journal focuses on the study of naturally occurring compounds derived from plants, microorganisms, and marine organisms. It covers a wide spectrum of topics including phytochemistry, pharmacognosy, ethnomedicine, biotechnology, and biomedical sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on the biological evaluation, isolation, characterization, and synthesis of natural compounds, as well as their pharmacological, toxicological, and clinical applications. TJNPR operates a rigorous double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality and integrity of published research. It encourages interdisciplinary studies at the interface of chemistry and biology, especially those addressing global health challenges such as infectious and chronic diseases.
