Translation and Literature is a journal of English literature (prose, poetry, drama) in its foreign relations. Its focus is on translated works which have become part of English literature or the œuvres of English authors; translations of literary works from English into other languages; and translations which have influenced English writers and writing. We also publish significant historical translations edited from manuscript sources. Translation and Literature is a journal of English literature (prose, poetry, and drama) in its foreign relations. We also publish significant historical translations edited from manuscript sources. If your work does not fit into one of these categories, we advise you to consider another journal. Contributions are invited in the above areas, up to 15,000 words for articles; 6,000 for notes (which should concentrate on factual matters); and 6,000 for Translators' Forum. Contributions (Word or PDF) should be attached to a covering message with a self-introduction to the Assistant Editor: Ross_McLeod.tal@aol.com. Enquiries prior to submission are welcomed and may be sent to the same address, or to the Editor: Stuart.Gillespie@glasgow.ac.uk.
