Tilburg Law Review (TLR)
Journal Descriptions
The Tilburg Law Review publishes two issues per year. The first is dedicated to the yearly Montesquieu Lecture, in which an internationally acclaimed scholar presents their research in a public lecture. The issue includes comments to the lecture by Tilburg Law School scholars and, on occasion, a reply to critics by the speaker. The second issue publishes a range of papers on a topic typically within the scope of one of the Law School’s research Signature Plans. Please note that we do not currently accept open submssions. Founded in 1991, Tilburg Law Review remains a prominent European law journal. As of its 20th anniversary, the journal is read on both sides of the Atlantic, and has the ambition of expanding its readership beyond. The journal benefits from the large international network and dynamic research environment within Tilburg Law School.
