Tidsskriftet Norges Barnevern is a well-established journal in the child welfare sector and is recognized by the university and college system as a level-one publication channel. A vocational periodical for employees and elected officials in the child welfare sector, Tidsskriftet Norges Barnevern is a scientific journal for the publication of research on child welfare and child protection. The journal presents popularized scientific research, systematized experiences based in a field of practice, and scientific articles with themes from research in the fields of child care. The journal publishes articles related to current affairs, profiles persons of interest to the field and aims to be the chosen field of debate on issues related to child protection. The editorial staff of the journal is based at Norsk barnevernsamband. Members of the agency automatically receive Norges barnevern.
