Tidsskrift for kjønnsforskning (TFK)

Tidsskrift for kjønnsforskning is an interdisciplinary journal that shows the breadth of gender research in Norway and presents new knowledge in the field. The journal was established in 1977 with the title Women’s Studies and then changed to Tidsskrift for kjønnsforskning in 2005. The journal publishes articles, comments, debate contributions and book reviews, both as subject issues and as open issues. The journal’s main section is referee-based. It is read by researchers, teachers and students within all fields in which a gender perspective is a part, in addition to policymakers and others with an interest in issues that concern gender and gender equality in various parts of society. Tidsskrift for kjønnsforskning is published by Scandinavian University Press on behalf of Kilden genderresearch.no, and with the support of Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap. The journal is issued quarterly. From 2017, the journal will be published open access.
