The Lancet Global Health (LGH)
Journal Descriptions
The Lancet Global Health focuses on disadvantaged populations, be they whole economic regions or marginalised groups within otherwise prosperous nations, with a preference for the following topics: reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health; infectious diseases, including neglected tropical diseases; non-communicable diseases; mental health; the global health workforce; health systems; surgery; and health policy. In addition, we continue The Lancet's tradition of advocacy and health policy and aim to catalyse alliances between health-care professionals, the public, and policy makers to champion change based on the best evidence to deliver better health worldwide. We are committed to addressing the decolonising agenda in global health. We publish a range of content types including Articles, Review, Comment, and Correspondence. We also publish Series and Commissions that aim to shape and drive positive change in global health. Learn more about the types of papers we publish.
