The Kansas Journal of Medicine (KJM) publishes original research, brief reports, journal club articles, reviews, commentaries, and case reports on all aspects of clinical medicine, health care delivery, health policy, and medical education. The journal is a publication of the University of Kansas Medical Center (ISSN: 1948-2035). Although submissions are not restricted by geography or affiliation, authors with current or past association within the institution or Kansas are targeted, as well as manuscript topics related to Kansas healthcare institutions and populations. KJM publishes on a bi-monthly rotation, or six issues yearly (Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun, Jul/Aug/, Sep/Oct, Nov/Dec), with the occasional supplemental issue.
