The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (JASA) is one of the world’s premier acoustics research journals, first published in 1929 and continuously issued monthly ever since. It is jointly sponsored by the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) and published through AIP Publishing LLC (the American Institute of Physics). JASA’s mission is to disseminate high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances the understanding of the physics and applications of sound across a broad spectrum of disciplines. The journal’s scope includes fundamental and applied studies in linear and nonlinear acoustics, aeroacoustics, underwater acoustics, ultrasonics, and structural/acoustic coupling, as well as topics in speech, noise control, hearing science, and engineering acoustics.
