The Journal of Indian and Asian Studies (JIAS) is a biannual (2 issues per year), peer-reviewed, open-access and international academic journal, published jointly by the Institute of Indian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea) and World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd. The journal invites submissions of articles in social sciences as well as humanities, including but not limited to: history, sociology, anthropology, political science and international relations, philosophy, religion, linguistics, literature and related fields. It is committed to theoretical innovation and novel approaches to empirical research, especially on Indian and South Asian studies. Most importantly, JIAS aims to stimulate research that provides new perspectives on Indian and South Asian Studies.
