The Journal of Adult Protection uniquely bridges the gap between research and practice. It is the only journal to address emerging perspectives and developments in safeguarding, adult protection, mental capacity and related areas across all adult service user groups. The Journal of Adult Protection’s (JAP) multidisciplinary, international coverage reflects communities of researchers, policy-makers and practitioners involved in the research and delivery of keeping people with support needs safe from harms, whatever their circumstances. The journal offers vital access to innovative research, considers implications for practice and presents viewpoints, analysis and commentary on current policy, practice and research in this important field. JAP publishes peer-reviewed and vital evidence to inform future research and working for everyone involved in adult protection, safeguarding and mental capacity.
