The Cormac McCarthy Journal is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on the works and influence of Cormac McCarthy. The journal publishes articles, notes, and reviews related to Cormac McCarthy's novels, dramas, and screenplays, the film adaptations of his work, and other appropriate scholarly materials. The journal began online in 1998, and the first hard copy was self-published by the Cormac McCarthy Society in 2001. In 2015, CMJ began publication with Penn State University Press, and has appeared biannually since 2016. Individual articles can be found in databases like JSTOR, Project MUSE, and the MLA Bibliography. Penn State UP's website for CMJ can be found here.
