The Bottom Line is a multidisciplinary international leading journal publishing cutting-edge research that explores relevant conceptual and practical management and organizational issues aiming at serving society, with a focus on information, knowledge, innovation, sustainability, technology and value creation approached through diverse business perspectives. The Bottom Line is the first journal that actively aims to publish multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary papers by academics and practitioners that focus on current developments and challenges in the fields of information and knowledge, innovation, sustainability, technology and value creation by analysing the managerial, organizational and societal dimensions of these fields from different perspectives. The Bottom Line aims to provide its readers with original and thought-provoking analyses and discussions on these areas. This includes investigations in one (or at the interface) of the following three categories: 1. The role of information, knowledge and innovation in different types of organizations. Among other things, the journal is interested in how these interrelated aspects could or should be used by managers or decision-makers in the public and private sectors to create value, promote more sustainable organizational forms and processes, promote strategic and human aspects or actively contribute to intellectual, technological, social and/or ecological development. 2. Contemporary management. Expanding our understanding of how the various functional areas of management (e.g., strategy, governance, leadership, accounting and finance, marketing, human resources, research and development, project management, operations, logistics, information systems and technologies); or concepts describing organisation's operations and management practices.
