The AAG Review of Books (AAGRB)
Journal Descriptions
The AAG Review of Booksbegan publication in 2013 as a quarterly online journal of the American Association of Geographers (AAG). The AAG Review of Books was created to hold scholarly book reviews as formerly published in the AAG’s flagship journals, Annals of the American Association of Geographers and The Professional Geographer. The AAG Review of Books contains scholarly reviews of current books which are either geographic in sensitivities, or which are reviewed and interpreted through the multiple lenses that geography offers. Books – of different formats – remain at the heart of geographic scholarship. Not only as a way to disseminate ideas and research, but also as sources of inspiration which may come from (well) beyond the discipline of geography, to include books of poetry, works of fiction, and visual imagery. Contents include book reviews, review essays, and book review fora.
