Tanzanian Economic Review (TER) is a biannual journal of the Department of Economics, which is a part of the School of Economics of the University of Dar es Salaam. TER aims to promote greater understanding of socio-economic factors and processes that influence and shape the transformation of developing countries. The Journal is not limited to the Tanzanian Economy, it covers all aspects of Economics and Economic Transformation in developing countries and beyond. TER follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published work. It is issued biannually, with two volumes typically released in June and December each year. The journal is indexed in reputable international databases such as EBSCO, RePEc, EconPapers, and IDEAS, increasing its global visibility and accessibility.
