Studies in Reformed Theology (SRT)
Journal Descriptions
Studies in Reformed Theology (SRT) is a peer-reviewed international academic book series published by Brill Academic Publishers (Brill Nijhoff, Netherlands). The series is devoted to advanced scholarship in Systematic Theology, Historical Theology, and Biblical Theology within the Reformed Christian tradition. It is edited under the supervision of the International Reformed Theological Institute (IRTI), a global network of scholars established in 1995 to promote research in Reformed theology. The series publishes thematic edited volumes and scholarly monographs addressing classical and contemporary theological issues from a Reformed perspective. Major topics include Calvinism, ecclesiology, covenant theology, biblical interpretation, church history, ecumenical dialogue, ethics, and doctrinal development. It also explores the continuing relevance of Reformed theology in modern society and global Christianity. Established in 1996, the series has become an important scholarly resource for theologians, seminarians, historians of Christianity, and researchers in religious studies. Unlike a traditional journal, it functions as a continuing book series, publishing volumes irregularly according to accepted scholarly manuscripts. Brill reports that the series has averaged approximately two volumes per year in recent years.
