Journal Descriptions

Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Ephemerides, journal of the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is a scientific research journal focusing on the field of journalism, media and communication. The journal is semesterly (June, December). We have also a section that includes book reviews and scientific event presentations. Our editorial board includes scientists from both Europe and SUA. Our focus is not only the so-called classical media like newspapers, radio or television but also on the internet and the new media, from the relationship between classical newspapers and online publications to the rise of online social networking. The aim of the journal is to encourage original contributions these related fields. We strive towards a number of goals, of which we hereby mention the most important: To establish a platform for academic debates of the highest standard, involving researchers from Romanian universities alongside reputable academics from abroad; To increase the number of articles written by foreign authors; To approach research subjects which are currently relevant, as well as extremely rich and stimulating from a scientific viewpoint.
