Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai Biologia (Studia UBB Biologia) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, abstracts and short communications in all areas of biology, from environmental sciences considering species, communities / ecosystems or human ecology to molecular biology, physiology and ethology. STUDIA UNIVERSITATIS BABEŞ – BOLYAI, BIOLOGIA is an open access, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing quality articles in all areas of the biological sciences. Papers published by the journal aim to represent advances of significance within each field: Microbiology, Plant sciences, Animal sciences, Physiology, Ecology, Biochemistry, Cellular and molecular biology, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology and public health, and so on. Article types: Research, Review, Short Communication, Book review, In memoriam, Abstract. We are committed to providing an efficient service for both authors and readers. A team of specialized editors make fair publication decisions, based on recommendations emitted by independent reviewers after a double-blinded evaluation. Dissemination of accepted papers: two issues per year (June, December).
